Welcome 2nd grade families! My name is Maleigha Trahan. This is my ninth year teaching at Gautier Elementary and my twenty-fourth year teaching. I am thrilled to have your child in my class this year. 

 

I am originally from south Louisiana, but I currently reside in Ocean Springs. I am a graduate of the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now the University of Louisiana at Lafayette) and Louisiana State University in Shreveport. I hold a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I have been married to my wonderful husband for the past 35 years and we have two wonderful daughters, an amazing son-in-law, and two beautiful grandchildren.
