Principal's Message

Greetings Parents and Families of Gautier Elementary School:
My name is Jessical T. Coleman and I’m extremely happy to be blessed with the opportunity to work with the amazing staff & students of GES. I’m extremely passionate about education and I look forward to partnering with you to provide our students with a rigorous, engaging, fun, and high-quality elementary school experience. As the parent of two boys, I recognize the importance of a strong home-school connection. Parents are every child’s first teacher and I believe that by working together, we can make sure your child’s social, emotional, and academic needs are met.
Before joining GES, I served in a few different academic capacities all in the Pascagoula-Gautier School District.  I worked as an elementary school teacher for 6 years, a district wide Lead Teacher for 1 year, and Assistant Principal of Martin Bluff Elementary for 3 and ½  years.  My educational background includes a Specialist of Education in Educational Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi, Master of Arts in Education from William Carey University, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi, and an Associate of Arts degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
My mission is to ensure that every student is receiving high-quality instruction in a safe and engaging environment: every child, every day.  I will be working closely with our Lead Teacher, Mrs. Brigette Anderson, to ensure that all of our scholars are intellectually challenged and have access to the academic, social, and emotional support that is critical to student success.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve your families! Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns at 522-8824 or
Yours in education,
Jessical T. Coleman, Ed.S.
